Job Overview

We are looking for an Equity Research Analyst to support investment research and analysis for a Singapore-based Single-Family Office. The role will focus on researching listed companies, analysing financial performance and market developments, and preparing investment research materials to support portfolio and investment discussions. The position will work closely with the investment and asset management teams across different markets and sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental research on listed companies, industries, and relevant market sectors.
• Analyse company financial statements, business models, earnings performance, and key financial metrics.
• Monitor equity markets, economic developments, industry trends, and company-specific events.
• Build and maintain financial models to support valuation and investment analysis.
• Prepare company research reports, investment summaries, and market updates for internal review.
• Conduct valuation analysis using relevant methodologies and financial market data.
• Track portfolio companies and provide regular updates on earnings, corporate actions, and material developments.
• Support due diligence and research activities for potential investment opportunities.
• Work with investment professionals to evaluate market information and develop research materials.
• Maintain accurate records of research data, valuation assumptions, and investment analysis.
• Assist with ad hoc research projects and investment-related analysis as required.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Investment Management, Business, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in equity research, investment analysis, asset management, corporate finance, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, company valuation, and equity markets.
• Experience with financial modelling and valuation techniques such as DCF and comparable company analysis.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, research, and written communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work with financial and market data.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial research platforms will be an advantage.
• Ability to independently research companies, industries, and investment themes.
• Good written and spoken English, with the ability to present research findings clearly.
• Experience covering Asian or global equity markets will be an advantage.
