Job Summary

The Legal Specialist will be responsiblefor providing expert legal guidance on commercial contracts, regulatorycompliance, and corporate governance matters. You will work closely withmanagement to mitigate legal risks, ensure adherence to maritime and corporatelaws, and facilitate smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities

·        Draft, review, and negotiatevarious commercial agreements, including supply contracts, service agreements,and NDAs.

·        Advise management on legalrisks associated with business operations and strategic initiatives.

·        Ensure company compliance withlocal and international regulations, particularly those related to the marineand offshore industry.

·        Manage corporate secretarialmatters and ensure compliance with ACRA (Accounting and Corporate RegulatoryAuthority) requirements.

·        Handle internal disputes andmanage external legal counsel where necessary.

·        Maintain legal documentation,templates, and corporate records.

·        Monitor changes in legislationaffecting the maritime and electrical equipment industry and update internalpolicies accordingly.

Requirements

·        Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) orequivalent qualification.

·        Minimum 3-5 years of experiencein corporate/commercial law, preferably with in-house experience in themaritime or manufacturing sectors.
