Full Time Fixed Assets Accounting Officer | Public Sector | 12-Month Contract Jobs, Salary up to SGD 5,000 in BGC GROUP PTE. LTD. Central Region (Singapore) - Maukerja

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join the Asset Services Division on a 1-year temporary contract.

You will oversee the end-to-end accounting and management of organisation-owned fixed assets, including assets held by external operating partners. Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining accurate and timely fixed asset records and reports

• Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and applicable financial reporting standards

• Managing fixed asset confirmation exercises with stakeholders

• Supporting year-end closing and audit activities

• Providing advice on fixed asset policies, accounting treatment and operational requirements

• Identifying process gaps and leading improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency

• Reviewing and improving process documentation, guidelines and SOPs

• Championing the use of AI, digitalisation, data analytics and automation tools

• Providing technical guidance, coaching and support to a team of finance professionals

Requirements

• Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline

• At least 5 years of finance experience

• Experience in fixed assets management or fixed assets accounting

• Experience in the public sector or a large organisation will be advantageous

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills

• Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives

• Meticulous, self-motivated and able to work independently

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Knowledge of SAP, AI tools, data visualisation or Robotic Process Automation will be an added advantage
