Key Responsibilities

• Perform business-related direct purchasing activities for spares and parts, with a strong understanding of products, tools, and procurement processes.

• Access and review detailed drawings and specifications related to part numbers to provide accurate technical information to suppliers.

• Utilize Teamcenter access to support CVD purchasing activities and retrieve required engineering documentation.

• Use SAP in day-to-day operations and perform responsibilities similar to RFT buyers with routine procurement activities.

• Create Purchase Orders (POs) according to supplier lead times and approved pricing, and provide latest drawings and BOMs to suppliers (SCV/SIX).

• Manage supplier order delivery schedules and ensure timely schedule updates in SAP.

• Apply existing order management processes and procedures for supplier delivery tracking, ECN implementation, FAI processes, and outstanding GR & IR follow-up.

• Work closely with Engineering, MPM, and SCM teams to evaluate and recommend new suppliers.

• Coordinate and drive purchasing activities with Manufacturing and Engineering departments to maintain inventory at planned levels.

• Pull and review part specifications and engineering drawings, utilizing knowledge of material types to communicate effectively with engineers and suppliers.

• Provide feedback to Engineering teams to support cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
