Group Risk Intern Jobs, Salary up to SGD 1,200 in ComfortDelGro Central Region (Singapore) - Maukerja

ComfortDelGro is one of the largest land transport companies in the world with a global workforce, a global shareholder base and a global outlook.

The Group was formed on 29 March 2003 through the merger of two land transport companies – Comfort Group and DelGro Corporation. Both had started out in the 1970s and had, by the time of the merger, grown to become successful listed land transport companies.

Following the merger, ComfortDelGro has expanded significantly and now operates in seven countries and has a global fleet of about 34,000 vehicles.

ComfortDelGro’s businesses include bus, taxi, rail, car rental and leasing, automotive engineering services, inspection and testing services, driving centers, non-emergency patient transport services, insurance broking services and outdoor advertising.

Requirements

As an intern in the Group Sustainability and Risk Office, the primary focus of this role is to support the team responsible for driving change within the organization through strategy formulation, stakeholder engagement, and project management execution.

1. Enterprise Risk Management:

• Maintain and facilitate discussions for risk registers, concentrating on key risks, including risk identification, assessment of risks, and assisting business units and/or functional units in remediating risks.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of the company’s Control Self-Assessment (CSAs).
• Collate and analyze risk and internal control data (such as CSA and Key Risk Indicators).
• Assist process owners in identifying control gaps to strengthen the internal control environment.
• Follow up on internal audit issues and monitor their timely resolution.

2. Sustainability and Risk:

• Conduct regular industry research and data analysis on global sustainability and risk trends, regulatory changes, including emerging risks and sustainability issues such as decarbonization and climate risk.
• Disseminate and share best practices and ideas across Business Units (BUs) on sustainability and risk management developments, including creating internal awareness materials such as newsletters.
• Organize internal training/workshops to share knowledge on sustainability and risk management best practices with Group employees, fostering a better appreciation for the value of sustainability developments and risk management across different leadership levels in the Group.
• Engage in any other projects or initiatives assigned by the Group Sustainability and Risk Office.
