What The Role Is

The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full-time roles in the sector.

As part of the Strategic Planning and Organisational Excellence team, you will help strengthen and transform AGD by driving corporate planning and organisational development initiatives. This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and strategic decision-making, with opportunities to shape AGD's transformation journey and develop expertise in change management and organisational development.

What You Will Be Working On

Responsibilities:

You will be involved in the following:

• Participate in AGD's annual strategic planning cycle, including conducting organisational analysis, preparing workplan materials, organising management retreats, and facilitating planning focus group discussions to drive organisational goals and ensure structured long-term planning
• Design and implement transformation initiatives that enhance employee engagement, promote the oneAGD culture, and support internal change management efforts
• Organise corporate events, townhalls, and internal learning seminars to strengthen staff engagement and foster knowledge sharing across the organisation

Requirements:

(a) Functional/Technical Competencies:

• Tertiary qualifications in any discipline
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for corporate planning and organisational development
• Applicants with no experience may apply
