Intern – Engineering - Technical Support (Oil and Gas) Jobs, Salary up to MYR 1,000 in Penaga Dresser Federal Territory - Maukerja

Location: Kuala Lumpur

Job Summary

The Engineering & Technical Support Intern will support the Document Control Center team in assisting day-to-day technical coordination, documentation, and project-related engineering support activities. This internship offers hands-on exposure to project execution, technical documentation, and support functions within the oil & gas and industrial sectors, aligned with Penaga Dresser Sdn Bhd’s valve and flow control solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn and understand the different types of valves and related products supplied by the company.
• Help compile and organize engineering documents, datasheets, and drawings.
• Coordinate with internal teams (project engineer & document controller) to obtain required technical information.
• Assist in compiling the final documentation submission.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of proposals and technical records.
• Perform any other engineering or administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

• Experience working in a professional oil & gas / industrial engineering setting.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related fields).
• Basic understanding of engineering principles; knowledge of valves or flow control equipment is an advantage but not required.
• Willingness to learn, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
