Position : Presales IT Specialist

Salary : RM 6,500 - RM 8,500

Location : Desa Aman Puri, Kepong

Working Days : 8.30am – 5.30pm / Mon – Fri

Job Summary

We are seeking a Presales IT Specialist to provide technical expertise and solution consulting throughout the sales cycle. The role focuses on understanding customer requirements, designing suitable IT solutions, and supporting the sales team in securing new business opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to gather business and technical requirements
• Design and propose suitable IT solutions, including infrastructure, networking, cloud, cybersecurity, and business applications
• Prepare technical proposals, solution designs, Bills of Quantity (BOQ), and supporting documentation
• Deliver product presentations, solution demonstrations, and proof-of-concept (POC) sessions
• Provide technical consultation and support throughout the sales process
• Work closely with Sales, Delivery, and Technical teams to ensure successful project handover and implementation
• Respond to technical enquiries, RFPs, RFQs, and tender requirements when required
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and vendor solutions
• Identify opportunities to enhance solution offerings and customer value

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Presales, IT Consulting, System Engineering, or related roles
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud, and enterprise solutions
• Understanding of cybersecurity, system integration, and virtualization technologies is an advantage
• Strong presentation, communication, and customer engagement skills
• Analytical, problem-solving, and solution-oriented mindset
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and work effectively under deadlines
• Customer-focused, proactive, and able to work independently as well as within a team

Pay: RM6,500.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
