Veterinary Assistant
We are looking for a good team player that assists us in our clinic and is able to multitask in a busy practice. Experience is not a must, work ethics, love for animals and their welfare is what we are looking for. Fresh school leavers are welcome.
Training and guidance will be provided. Job scope would include animal husbandry, animal handling & restraint as well as front desk duties, where you will be working together with our team. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.

Computer literate
Good communication skills
Prior relevant experience and training is preferred but not necessary.
Ensure the cleanliness and sterility of the clinic.
Assist the receptionist which includes handling the clinic's hotlines and client enquiries during and after work hours, including emergency calls.
Registration of current and new clients and providing the necessary forms needed for them to sign as per the veterinarian's instructions.
Dispensing of medication to owners and giving advice on preventive care of their pets as per veterinarian's guidelines.
Handling all administrative work involving filing and keeping of records, i.e for expenses, accounting, etc.
Receiving delivered stock from suppliers, arranging of items for display, stocktaking of items in the clinic and keeping track of inventory
Preparation of medication and stocking of medication cabinets.
Carrying out diagnostic imaging including radiograph and ultrasound for dogs, cats and other small animals.
Carrying out minor procedures such as nail clipping, shaving, bathing, ear cleaning and stitch removal for dogs, cats and other small animals.
General care for hospitalized dogs, cats and other small animals, inclusive of cleaning the cages, feeding during mealtimes, administration of medication and checking on their well being.
