Role Summary

The Compensation Specialist is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs to ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and alignment with business and regulatory requirements. This role partners closely with HR Business Partners, payroll, finance, and business stakeholders on compensation-related matters.


Key Responsibilities

Compensation Programs & Administration

  • Support the design, implementation, and ongoing administration of compensation programs, including base pay, variable pay, career framework, and allowances.
  • Manage compensation processes such as annual merit reviews, promotions, transfers, and off-cycle adjustments.
  • Ensure accurate compensation data maintenance within HRIS (e.g., Workday), including EIB uploads and audit checks.


Market Benchmarking & Analysis

  • Conduct market pricing using salary surveys and benchmark data to ensure competitiveness.
  • Develop and maintain job evaluations, job grading, and salary structures.
  • Perform pay equity and internal consistency analyses to support fair pay practices.


Governance, Controls & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with internal compensation policies, procedures, and approval matrices.
  • Support audit requests and ensure proper documentation and governance of compensation decisions.
  • Monitor alignment with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company guidelines.


Process Improvement & Projects

  • Support compensation-related projects, system enhancements, or regional/global initiatives.
  • Drive process improvements and standardization to enhance efficiency and data quality.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and analysis for management and senior stakeholders.
