Job Title: Senior Accounts Executive – Account Payable - MY

Department: Finance

Reports to: Finance Manager, Finance

Job Summary:

The Senior Accounts Executive – Account Payable will be a key player in the Finance department, assist the finance team to ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. The role overseeing the full spectrum of AP functions, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processing of vendor invoices and payments. The role also supports process improvements, internal controls, and cross-functional coordination within a fast-paced ICT business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable & Vendor Management

• Manage end-to-end AP process: 3-way matching, posting, and payment processing.
• Liaise with vendors on billing discrepancies, statement reconciliations, and payment status
• Perform monthly AP aging analysis and reconciliation in timely manner
• Prepare AP schedules for month-end and year-end closing
• Support external and internal audits by providing required documentation.
• Handle stakeholder enquiries.
• Staff claim reimbursement

Cash outflow Management

• Execute scheduled batch payments planning
• Validate against weekly outflow
• Identify opportunities to streamline AP processes and improve efficiency.

Key Requirements:

Education:

• Degree in Accountancy

Experience:

• 6+ years of relevant experience in related field

Skills and Competencies:

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet the deadline
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Possess initiative, independent and meticulous.
