Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and manage technology projects within the banking environment. The candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and delivering IT projects aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and operational standards.
The role requires strong experience in project delivery, stakeholder management, vendor coordination, risk management, and banking systems implementation across areas such as digital banking, payments, core banking, compliance, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management & Delivery
- Manage end-to-end IT project lifecycle from initiation to closure
- Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Track project progress and provide regular status reporting to stakeholders
- Manage project governance, documentation, and approvals
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with business users, IT teams, vendors, and senior management
- Conduct project meetings, steering committee updates, and stakeholder communications
- Gather business requirements and ensure alignment with project objectives
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies (RAID)
- Escalate critical risks/issues and propose mitigation strategies
- Ensure proper change management processes are followed
Banking Systems & Regulatory Compliance
- Support implementation and enhancement of banking applications and digital platforms
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, audit requirements, IT governance, and security standards
- Work closely with compliance, risk, cybersecurity, and audit teams
Vendor & Resource Management
- Coordinate with external vendors, system integrators, and third-party providers
- Monitor vendor performance, deliverables, and SLA compliance
- Manage internal project teams and cross-functional resources
Quality Assurance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
- Monitor testing activities including SIT, UAT, and production deployment
- Ensure proper project documentation and governance standards

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- PMP / PRINCE2 certification preferred

Experience Requirement
- 5–10+ years of IT project management experience
- Experience managing banking or financial services projects
- Experience handling enterprise-scale or regional projects preferred
