About the Client

Our client is a leading regional financial services organisation with a strong presence across Asia. This role sits within the Group Internal Audit function and offers regional exposure across multiple business units and markets, partnering closely with senior technology stakeholders on enterprise-wide IT risk, cybersecurity, cloud, and emerging technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute end-to-end IT audit engagements across Group Office and regional business units, covering planning, fieldwork, reporting, and issue validation.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of IT governance, risk management, cybersecurity, cloud security, network security, and emerging technology controls across the organisation.
• Prepare clear and concise audit reports highlighting key risks, root causes, and practical recommendations for senior management and audit committees.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the annual IT audit plan, audit methodologies, and audit tools to improve effectiveness and consistency across markets.
• Act as a subject matter expert for technology and cybersecurity audits, providing guidance and support to regional audit teams and stakeholders.
• Monitor and validate remediation actions for identified audit findings to ensure timely and effective closure.
• Partner closely with Group and Country CTOs, technology leaders, and business stakeholders to provide independent assurance on critical technology initiatives and control environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Audit, Technology Risk, IT Assurance, or Cybersecurity Audit, preferably within banking, insurance, or regulated financial services environments.
• Strong exposure to IT governance, cybersecurity, cloud security, network security, and technology risk management frameworks.
• Experience conducting audits across IT infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity controls, and emerging technology environments.
• Hands-on exposure to ISO 27001 assessments, information security management systems, or related compliance frameworks would be an added advantage.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, or equivalent are highly preferred.
• Familiarity with data analytics techniques and technology-enabled audit approaches.
