Responsibilities
JOB PURPOSE
To act as a strategic HR partner to assigned business units while driving key initiatives in Talent Development, Performance Management System (PMS), and Learning & Development (L&D). This role ensures alignment between business objectives and people strategies to enhance organizational performance and employee capability.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES / KEY RESULT AREA
1) HR Business Partnering
• Serve as the primary HR contact for assigned departments/functions.
• Partner with line managers to understand business needs and provide HR advisory on manpower planning, structure, and workforce strategies.
• Support employee relations matters including performance issues, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
• Drive employee engagement and culture initiatives within supported functions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local labour laws.
2) Talent Development
• Design and implement talent development frameworks including succession planning and talent review processes.
• Identify high-potential employees and develop Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
• Partner with leadership to build leadership pipeline and readiness.
• Monitor and track talent progress and retention strategies.
3) Performance Management System (PMS)
• Manage end-to-end PMS cycle (goal setting, mid-year review, year-end appraisal).
• Ensure alignment of KPIs with business objectives.
• Provide guidance and training to managers on effective performance management.
• Analyze performance data and recommend improvement actions.
• Drive calibration sessions to ensure fairness and consistency.
4) Learning & Development (L&D)
• Identify training needs through TNA (Training Needs Analysis).
• Develop and implement annual training plan aligned with business priorities.
• Manage learning programs including leadership, functional, and behavioural training.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and ROI.
• Liaise with external training providers and manage program delivery.
5) HR Projects & Initiatives
• Lead or support HR transformation and organizational development initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement in HR processes and systems.
• Participate in employer branding and talent attraction initiatives where required.
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Formal Education
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or commensurate level of experience/ achievements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is an added advantage.
Skills / Knowledge/ Qualifications
• 5–8 years of HR experience, with exposure to HRBP and Talent Development functions.
• Experience handling PMS and L&D frameworks is essential.
• Prior experience in corporate or group HR environment is preferred.
