Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Contacting potential customers who are relocating from Singapore to other countries worldwide and vice versa.
  • Be the primary point of contact for transferees throughout the move process.
  • Estimate volumes of Household / other goods for International/Local Removal (Air or Sea or Road) to pack and load, providing quotations, communicating with customers to secure the business.
  • Coordinate move services with agent/partners to ensure successful logistical coordination of each household goods move, in accordance with company and Client procedures and standards.
  • Monitor shipment status, including accurate and timely updates of internal and external records.
  • Maintain the expected level of profitability per file by working costing, quotations.
  • Accurately process invoices within the required time frame to ensure that revenue levels are met.
  • Maintain positive and constructive communication with customers, accounts, vendors, partners around the world.
  • Arranging with packing and moving team to supply pre-loading materials and do the loading proper as arranged with customers.
  • Making arrangements with shipping lines, consolidators, etc for moving of the shipment and communicating with destination agents for delivery arrangements.
  • Various other responsibilities as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma holder.
  • At least 2 years experience with household goods volume survey (Possess knowledge to use survey app for volume calculation will be an added advantage)
  • Previous experience in the international relocations industry is a must.
  • A valid Class 3 License not compulsory but will be an added advantage.
  • Focused on working with corporate clients, including customer service and household goods move management.
  • Must work effectively and independently in a fast paced environment.
  • Must possess strong communication, teamwork, client service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organization and follow-up skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as situations and needs change throughout the workday.
  • Strong computer/internet proficiency.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite and web-based programs.
  • Develops and maintains a positive and professional working relationship with all members of the team, customers, clients and service partners.
  • Comfortable to visit customers at their house to conduct survey on their relocation.
