Overview


We are looking for a skilled Handyman to perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks in a data centre setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and be committed to delivering high-quality work that meets or exceeds customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of non-critical facility systems, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
• Install and repair electrical fixtures, plumbing fixtures, HVAC systems, and appliances.
• Install drywall, repair holes and cracks, and prepare surfaces for painting.
• Install flooring, including raised access floor and data centre floor tiles.
• Perform exterior maintenance tasks such as landscaping, mowing .
• Respond to customer service requests promptly and courteously, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and best practices.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a handyman or similar role.
• Proficient with power and hand tools.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Physical dexterity and strength to perform manual labor tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certificate in plumbing, electrical, or carpentry (optional).
