Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting Finance or a related discipline or a recognized accounting certification (LCCI Level or higher or equivalent).
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience managing full-set accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with tax regulations statutory compliance and audit preparation.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Highly detail-oriented organized and capable of working independently.
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving and time management abilities.
  • Responsible reliable and professional in managing confidential information.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while effectively handling multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

 PLAYA Racquet Club is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Account Executive to manage the complete range of the company's accounting operations. If you possess the confidence to handle financial responsibilities autonomously have experience in maintaining precise records and can aid in ensuring financial compliance and reporting this position provides an opportunity for advancement within an exciting and rapidly evolving lifestyle brand.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage comprehensive accounting tasks including issuing invoices processing payments recording receipts entering journal entries and maintaining the general ledger.
  • Keep financial records ledgers and account reconciliations accurate and updated.
  • Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and track daily cash flow movements.
  • Compile monthly management accounts financial reports and cash flow statements.
  • Provide weekly sales and financial reports to management for performance assessment.
  • Assist in budgeting forecasting and financial planning initiatives.
  • Address tax-related issues including SST tax submissions and liaising with external tax agents or auditors.
  • Ensure timely completion of statutory payments such as EPF SOCSO EIS PCB and other applicable regulatory obligations.
  • Communicate with auditors tax agents bankers company secretaries and other external stakeholders.
  • Guarantee adherence to accounting standards company policies and internal controls.
  • Organize systematic filing and appropriate documentation of all accounting records.
  • Track company expenses and identify opportunities for cost control and process enhancement.
  • Support payroll processing and reconciliation as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial data and seamless operational support.
  • Perform additional accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned.
