What You’ll Do:

• Record and track Major Project Works (MWP) approved site plans received, align the site plans to their true geographical coordinates, and update the plans in the Gas and Electricity Mapping System (GEMS).

• Digitize and create new substation records in the GEMS/NPAC/SAP/NOVA systems.

• Liaise with architects and developers for new proposed building developments and new road layout site plans to be updated in GEMS.

• Update, QA, and post the Road Centre Line (RDC) in GEMS and ensure that it conforms to the street naming convention while maintaining the street names in the NMACS Master Street record.

• Ensure the accuracy and timely update of work-in-progress (WIP) information in GEMS.

• Liaise with project officers, external contractors, or surveyors to ensure the accurate and timely submission of survey drawings.

• Perform quality checks on the transmission/distribution surveyed information submitted by contractors/surveyors.

• Edit and update the transmission/distribution surveyed information in GEMS.

• Re-align existing gas pipe information in the mapping system due to changes in landbase information or updates.

• Manage the Map Realignment Project to edit gas asset data in GEMS, realign the gas landbase to the elect landbase, and achieve a common landbase.

• Provide production support to end-users, handle user queries, and resolve production issues.

• Perform any other duties assigned related to the job scope.

What You’ll Need:

• Diploma in relevant technical disciplines or equivalent from any of the recognized Polytechnics in Singapore.

• Good technical knowledge of Geographic Information System (GIS) software, e.g ESRI product range will be an added advantage

• Good grasp of using Microsoft applications, e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.

• Highly motivated individual with a positive attitude

• Able to work independently, as well as in a team and in a challenging environment
