Role Description

We are seeking a Wastewater Business Development Manager in Ipoh for a full-time, on-site position. The role involves researching and developing business opportunities in the wastewater industry and building relationships with key stakeholders. Responsibilities include identifying potential clients, preparing and delivering pitches, managing the sales pipeline, meeting sales targets, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver client solutions. The successful candidate will also stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to shape strategic decisions.


Qualifications

  • Strong business development and sales skills, including client relationship management and strategic account planning
  • Experience in wastewater management or environmental services industry, including understanding of industry-related regulations and technologies
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to develop compelling presentations and proposals
  • Analytical and research capabilities to identify market trends, evaluate competitors, and uncover business opportunities
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets, while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic industry demands and work independently
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and other sales tools
