Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Management
Lead project planning activities including work programme, resource allocation, and method statements.
Develop detailed project schedules and monitor progress against approved baseline.
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
Ensure compliance with contract specifications, drawings, and authority requirements.
2. Cost & Budget Control
Monitor project budget, cost control, and cash flow management.
Ensure procurement activities align with project budget and timeline.
Conduct cost forecasting and financial reporting to management.
3. Site & Construction Management
Oversee daily site operations to ensure work is carried out safely and efficiently.
Resolve technical, contractual, and operational issues.
Ensure proper coordination between civil, structural, architectural, and M&E works.
Monitor subcontractor performance and enforce compliance with contract requirements.
4. Quality Management
Ensure works comply with project specifications and quality standards.
Implement QA/QC procedures and inspection plans.
Ensure proper documentation and testing records are maintained.
5. Safety & Compliance
Enforce compliance with DOSH and local authority regulations.
Promote a strong safety culture on site.
Ensure all safety procedures and risk assessments are implemented. Title: Project Manager
Budget: RM12k -RM15k (can stretch for strong profiles)
Note:
* Company is undergoing expansion, esp with new investor coming in. Yearly revenue over 700mil
* Worked with major clients like Gamuda, SunCon, IJM, Google, Microsoft etc
* New hire
* prefer cdds with steel-related background, open to main or subcon. Client is subcon, specialised in Steel structure
* Reporting to the Founder
* No other HH, 0 profiles in pipeline

6. Client Management
Attend site meetings and represent the company professionally.
Maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and authorities.
Provide timely progress reports to senior management and clients.
7. Team Leadership
Lead and mentor project engineers, site engineers, and supervisors.
Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
Promote teamwork and effective communication.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum 8–12 years of relevant construction experience.
Experience in high-rise, infrastructure, or industrial projects preferred.
Strong knowledge of contract management (PAM, CIDB, FIDIC).
Good leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Proficient in MS Project / Primavera and Microsoft Office.

Pay: RM12,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
