About the Role:

Metronix Solutions is launching an exciting new Print-on-Demand (POD) production line specializing in custom apparel (T-shirts) and hard accessories (phone cases, acrylics). We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Digital Printing Equipment Operator to join our team.

You will be at the heart of our production, starting with managing a daily volume of ~100 orders and helping us scale our operations to an industrial capacity of 1,000+ orders per day. Key Responsibilities:

Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor commercial-grade digital printers, including DTG/DTF (e.g., Brother, Epson) for apparel and UV flatbed printers (e.g., Roland, Mimaki) for hard goods.

Production Management: Process daily incoming POD orders accurately and efficiently. Ensure seamless material loading/unloading (jigs for phone cases, platens for garments).

Quality Control (QC): Inspect printed products to ensure high color accuracy, print clarity, and overall quality before shipping. Minimize wastage and reprint rates.

Routine Maintenance: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance on printing equipment (e.g., cleaning printheads, managing white ink circulation, replacing consumables) to prevent downtime.

Software Handling: Use RIP software (e.g., Wasatch, Ergosoft) and barcode/order management systems to process print files.

Inventory Tracking: Keep track of blank inventory (T-shirts, phone cases) and ink supplies, alerting management when restocking is required.

Requirements:

Experience: Prior experience operating digital printers (DTG, DTF, or UV) is highly preferred but not mandatory. On-the-job training will be provided for candidates with a strong willingness to learn.

Technical Aptitude: Comfortable using computers, RIP software, and order management systems. Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator is a strong plus.

Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for color consistency, alignment, and print defects.

Physical Stamina: Ability to handle the physical demands of a production environment, including standing for extended periods and lifting light-to-medium boxes of raw materials.

Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment where daily targets are scaling rapidly.
