Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive and sort laundry items according to colour, fabric type, and washing requirements
• Check clothing or linen for stains, damages, missing items, or special washing instructions
• Tag and label customer laundry accurately
• Load and unload washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment
• Fold, pack, and arrange cleaned laundry neatly for collection or delivery
• Ensure correct quantities of items are returned to customers
• Assist in ironing, steaming, or pressing garments when required
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the laundry work area
• Handle laundry chemicals and detergents safely according to company procedures
• Assist with delivery or collection of laundry items if assigned
• Report damaged machines, missing items, or customer complaints to supervisors
• Follow workplace safety rules and infection control procedures
• Support teamwork and daily operational activities during busy periods
