Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • To implement all policies, activities, procedures as relevant and required by the Company's development for project delivery
  • To liaise closely with the consultant and contractor to ensure proper construction works coordination and sequences to avoid mistakes and ensure compliance
  • To monitor and control project progress to achieve the scheduled Rate of Works (ROW) & project billing's claim
  • To maintain close and effective liaison with external parties involved in property development and construction stages. These include local authorities, project consultants, contractors, suppliers, etc.
  • To monitor and control the defect rectification progress during Defect Liability Period and to ensure defects are closed within stipulated time frame
  • To ensure the implementation, compliance, monitoring and maintenance of high standard ISO compliance and assessment system for the development; ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001
  • To periodically compile, prepare and present the reports of the development's status, progress of works to Superior / Management
  • To perform other relevant duties and ad-hoc projects as and when directed by management from time to time


Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least an Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Structure Engineering / Project Management / Construction Management
  • At least 10 years of working experience in HIGH-RISE BUILDING construction industry and/or project management in property development are required for this position
  • Well versed in project planning and ISO compliance & assessment system
  • Experienced in good quality control to accommodate for high achievement in QLASSIC assessment
  • Able to make quick decision on contractual and site matters related to architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical works
  • Has s strong knowledge in detailing, scopes, sequences on construction management, contract administration and project planning
  • Has good interpersonal, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task projects, handle tight schedule and deliverables
  • Must be computer literate; required skill(s): Microsoft Office, AutoCAD
