What will you do?

  • Payroll Oversight: Collaborate with external payroll vendors to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for Malaysia and other assigned countries.
  • Statutory Compliance: Manage statutory submissions and contributions and ensure adherence to the local labor laws and tax regulations.
  • Multi-Country Payroll Management: Ensure compliance with payroll regulations across multiple regions.
  • Payroll Reconciliation & Reporting: Validate payroll reports, statutory filings, and financial reconciliations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Finance, and external payroll vendors to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
  • Process Improvements: Identify opportunities to enhance payroll efficiency, automation, and compliance procedures.
  • Audit & Compliance Support: Assist in internal and external audits related to payroll and statutory compliance.

What Skills And Experience Will You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a regional capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and multi-country payroll exposure is a plus.
  • Experience working with outsourced payroll providers and payroll software
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple payroll cycles simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in a shared services environment or multinational company.
  • Familiarity with APAC payroll regulations.
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills for payroll data analysis.
