QA ENGINEER

Location: Remote – Philippines, Thailand

Type: Full-Time 3-month contract, with an opportunity to extend based on performance.

Role Overview: We're looking for a full-time QA Engineer with strong automation testing

skills to join our growing remote team. Your primary focus will be on test automation, with

manual testing when needed. Beyond technical execution, you will be expected to

understand business processes and design tests that ensure software quality aligns with

business requirements — moving the needle forward for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a thorough understanding of business processes and client requirements to design tests that validate software from a business outcomes perspective
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts
• Perform manual testing for new features and regression cycles when needed
• Collaborate closely with engineers and designers to clarify requirements and resolve issues
• Write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Report and track bugs using project management tools
• Contribute to continuous improvement in testing strategies and automation frameworks

Requirements:

• 4+ years of QA experience, with strong emphasis on automation
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, etc.)
• Familiarity with JavaScript or Python for writing automation scripts
• Experience testing modern web applications
• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies and practices
• Fluent in English to collaborate with international team.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
