Mah Sing Group Berhad is one of Malaysia’s leading property developers, recognized for delivering innovative residential, commercial, and industrial developments nationwide. In line with our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to join our team as General Manager, Project Planning & Design.

• Lead and execute strategic planning for property development projects including market analysis, feasibility studies, due diligence, and financial evaluation.

• Drive project initiation activities and support early-stage project planning.

• Manage authority submissions, approvals, and stakeholder coordination.

• Establish and monitor overall project timelines from planning to approval stages.

• Oversee concept planning, layout planning, and design development to ensure functional and marketable products.

• Ensure design quality, consistency, and compliance across all developments.

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams including consultants, architects, engineers, and contractors.

• Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to internal teams to enhance performance and capability.

• Monitor consultant performance and ensure project deliverables are achieved efficiently.

• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to minimize errors and variation orders.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Urban & Town Planning, Architecture, or equivalent.

• Minimum 10 years of senior management experience in the construction or property development industry.

• Strong knowledge of property development processes and project planning.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong decision-making and resource management capabilities.

• Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
