Job Summary
Prepare the plan for the development of annual work plan, including short, medium and long term strategic plan or solutions for the organisation and communications and multimedia (C&M) industry at large, in order to improve the Commission's regulatory role and functions, priorities and objectives whilst pursuing and industry development agenda for the C&M industry
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in formulating and developing the framework for MCMC's annual work plan in line with MCMC's focus areas/ priorities, the Ministry and National Policies and Blueprint, to enhance MCMC's regulatory and developmental roles and functions for C&M industry
- Facilitate in coordinating cross Sectors and Divisions collaboration on the development of Sectoral/ Divisional plans to ensure the practicality and alignment with MCMC's annual work plan and achievement of the desired outcome
- Facilitate in developing strategies for engagements with internal and external stakeholders in identifying emerging issues and challenges as well the respective issues resolution relevant in improving the annual work plan and strategic plans
- Assist in preparing for the advisory and strategic value-added input, feedback and responses to other internal and external stakeholders to ensure Commission's regulatory position is articulated clearly in assessing organisational performance
- Coordinate in cross department and division collaboration to define the organization's strategic priorities and objectives for the year ahead, to ensure the MCMC annual work plan is aligned with the organization's mission, vision, and long-term strategic goals.
- Assist in preparing the plan for the development and implementation of a robust organizational resilience framework that fosters adaptability, agility, and continuous improvement.
- Assist in Department's deliverables to ensure the delivery of all works within the timeline and at acceptable quality and standard
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Minimum 2 years work experience Professional Qualifications in any discipline
- Experience in communications and multimedia industry, especially in formulating public policies, regulatory advisory/insight and business process
- Experience in strategic planning such as balanced scorecard approach, business plan, and other strategic initiatives
- Experience in having taken or played a leadership role
Technical Competencies
- Sound knowledge and understanding of C&M regulatory frameworks, roles, functions, processes
- Good grasp and analytical capability of industry, market, consumer and data

- Proficient in Microsoft Office or equivalent office productivity software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
