About the role


We are looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative for Marine Logistics & General Cargo based in Singapore. It is important that you are already a citizen of Singapore and have authorization to work here.


In this role, you will drive our sales efforts and help grow our business in the maritime and oil & gas sectors. You will build and maintain strong relationships with clients, identify new business opportunities, and ensure high customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will contribute to expanding AMS Group’s market presence while aligning with company goals and standards.


Responsibilities


  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across global markets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders
  • Present AMS Group’s solutions to potential clients, highlighting value in maritime and oil & gas sectors
  • Ensure client requirements and expectations are clearly understood and met
  • Coordinate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions and seamless customer experiences
  • Track sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics, providing regular reports to management
  • Support contract negotiation, proposals, and follow-ups to secure business
  • Collaborate closely with international teams to align on strategy and achieve growth targets


Required skills


  • 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management
  • Proven experience with air/sea/road freight, including cross-trade between third countries
  • Strong knowledge of customs procedures and associated regimes
  • Extensive understanding of logistics best practices and risk management
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced international environment


Preferred skills


  • Previous experience in maritime or oil & gas logistics
  • Previous experience in remote positions
  • Experience in logistics, operations, or supply chain


Compensation

Salary based on qualifications and experience, aligned with market standards.
