Full Time Site Safety Supervisor Jobs, Salary up to MYR 5,000 in Seri Yakin Selangor - Maukerja

SUMMARY

We are looking for Site Safety Supervisor who is responsible for promoting safe and healthy working conditions. Ultimately, you will be supervising safety of site personnel including staff and subcontractors.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety compliance with the provisions of Act and any relevant regulations.

2. Promote the general safe conduct of work within the site through safety training programs or other relevant initiatives.

3. Conduct safety audits and inspections, and rectify any unsafe conditions at the construction site and place of work.

4. Recommend and execute corrective measures to any unsafe practices.

5. Liaise with contractor's safety supervisors (appointed under Regulation 26 of the BOWEC Regulations) to manage the safety of work undertaken by subcontractors.

6. Assist SHO in investigating accidents and incidents, determining root cause, and developing corrective action plans.

7. Monitor inspection of machinery and equipment and maintain the relevant records.

8. Maintain safety documentation and safety equipment and supplies.

9. Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior and/or the management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION

· Diploma in Health and Safety, Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), Engineering, or Project Management from recognised university or institution which endorsed by MQA and DOSH.

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION/OTHER RELEVANT CERTIFICATION

· Registered Site Safety Supervisor with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH).

WORKING EXPERIENCES

· Minimum 3 years of working experience as Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) in infrastructure or building construction fields.

KEY/TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

· Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) legislative.

· Knowledge of the implementation and maintenance of ISO 14001 & 45001.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Words, Excel and PowerPoint).

· Good analytical thinking and decision making.

· Teamwork and collaboration: Adhere to the team’s expectations and guidelines; fulfils team responsibilities; demonstrates personal commitment to the team.

· Delegation: Define and clearly communicate the parameters of the delegated responsibility, including decision-making authority and any required actions, constraints, or deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
