Technical Engineer / Senior Engineer (Microsoft Services) – L2 / L3

Location: Plaza 33, Petaling Jaya (Klang Valley – travel required)
Employment Type: Contract (12 months, renewable / conversion to permanent based on performance)
Salary: Up to RM9,000 (based on experience & technical level)

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Technical Engineer / Senior Engineer (Microsoft Services) with strong project implementation experience in Microsoft infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate is not purely a support or operations engineer, but someone who has actively delivered deployment, migration, and integration projects.

You will be involved in end-to-end implementation of enterprise Microsoft solutions across client environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute implementation of Microsoft EUC and infrastructure solutions (AD, Exchange, Office 365, SCCM, Azure).
• Plan, configure, and deploy system upgrades, migrations, and integrations in client environments.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across Microsoft infrastructure stacks.
• Act as key technical liaison with clients and vendors throughout project lifecycle.
• Ensure quality assurance and system stability post-implementation.
• Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Microsoft certifications are mandatory

Experience

• Minimum 4 years hands-on technical experience in Microsoft infrastructure environments
• Strong project-based experience (implementation, migration, deployment) is required
• Solid experience in:
• Active Directory
• Exchange Server (on-premise & virtualized: Hyper-V / VMware)
• Office 365 / Microsoft 365
• SCCM
• Azure infrastructure
• Experience with third-party email archiving tools (e.g. Symantec Enterprise Vault, EMC SourceOne, EAS, Email Xtender) is an advantage

Technical Knowledge

• Exchange Web Services (EWS) and MAPI protocols
• Strong understanding of infrastructure integration and enterprise environments
