Position: Manager – Taxation

Client: A well-established, public-listed company in Malaysia with a strong presence in auto financing and a stable, growing business.

Location: Pudu, Kuala Lumpur

Working hours: Mon-Fri, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Salary: RM8,000- RM10,000

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced tax professional to lead the Tax Unit and oversee all direct and indirect tax matters. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance, optimizing tax efficiency, managing audits, and providing strategic tax advice to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all statutory tax filings including corporate tax, SST, and stamp duty
• Review tax computations and supporting schedules
• Develop tax planning strategies to optimize the Group’s tax position
• Provide tax advisory support on business transactions and restructuring
• Manage tax audits and liaise with LHDN, RMCD, auditors, and tax consultants
• Lead and mentor the tax team
• Strengthen tax policies, SOPs, and internal controls
• Monitor changes in tax laws and assess business impact

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification is mandatory
• Minimum 7 years of finance/accounting experience, including at least 5 years in taxation
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations
• Experience in corporate or group taxation is an advantage
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Salary

• RM8,000- RM10,000 (depends on performance and experience)
