Requirements

Minimum qualifications

  • SPM / Diploma in any field
  • Fresh graduates welcome
  • Valid driving licence (B2 / D)
  • Own transport preferred
  • Willing to travel within Klang Valley/ assigned territory

Preferred qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or Supply Chain
  • 1–2 years of any sales or customer-facing experience
  • Basic knowledge of freight, shipping, or customs
  • Experience using CRM tools or spreadsheets

 Skills & attributes

  • Communication - confident verbal communication in Bahasa Malaysia; English is a plus
  • Resilience - comfortable with cold visits, rejections, and building new relationships
  • Self-motivated - able to manage own fieldwork schedule and stay on target
  • Eagerness to learn - open to training on freight products and industry knowledge
  • Integrity - honest reporting of field activities and client feedback
  • Team player - able to coordinate with documentation and CS teams’ post-sale

Responsibilities

Role overview

The Junior Outdoor Sales will support the Sales & Marketing team by actively prospecting and visiting potential clients in the field. This is a ground-up role designed to develop candidates into future Sales Executives within 2 years - aligned with your internal promotion pathway.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct outdoor / field visits to prospect and identify new business leads (importers, exporters, manufacturers, traders)
  • Present and promote the company's freight services - sea, air, and land - to potential customers
  • Assist in preparing and submitting freight quotations under the supervision of the Manager
  • Follow up on quotations, inquiries, and leads to convert prospects into active accounts
  • Update and maintain CRM / prospect database with visit records, feedback, and progress
  • Accompany senior Sales staff on client calls and joint visits to learn sales approach
  • Attend internal training sessions on logistics, freight products, customs procedures, and customer handling
  • Meet weekly and monthly visit/call targets as set by the Manager
  • Report daily fieldwork activities and lead status to the Manager
