Role Description

This is a contract role for an Application Support Analyst, based on-site in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The role involves providing application support to resolve technical issues, performing troubleshooting to identify and resolve system errors, and offering technical assistance to end-users. The analyst will also apply analytical skills to assess and improve system performance and ensure continuous operation of applications.

• At least 3 years of working experience in software development and application support, demonstrating strong technical skills and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with cloud technologies is highly desirable, and holding an ITIL certification will be considered an added advantage.

Knowledge: System development life cycle, system analysis and design, database management and technically strong in all or some of this software: SQL, Oracle, Visual Basic, JAVA, .NET, IIS, Unix, Unix Shell Script Programming, MS SSRS, MS SSAS, MS SSIS, Apache, MS Sharepoint, IBM Websphere, CI/CD tools, Bitbucket, Test Automation tools, Cloud technologies and Cybersecurity
