Responsibilities
Admin cum Accounts assistant
We are a small company, in Bedok North. We are on a 5.5day work week, 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 1pm on Saturdays. Some weekdays are able to release early subject to work conditions.
This admin assistant will be mending the deliveries and collections in the warehouse/office. Ensure accurate quantity delivered and ensure correct placing of the goods received.
Attendance is important, must be physically present everyday in the warehouse to attend to deliveries from suppliers and collections from customers as you will be working independently in the office alone while sales and delivery staff are out for the day. This person must be able to work alone and mend the office as only 1 headcount.
Basic accounts involving accounts receivable and payables, which includes the following:-
- Checking daily sales invoices issued and payment received from customer, written entry into accounts book and enter into accounting database (MYOB. Prior exposure to MYOB or accounting system is preferred but can be trained.
- Maintaining the physical accounts books by ensuring the sales and payment received are accurately recorded so that balances are accurate.
Check and record the supplier invoices in excel spreadsheet.
Consolidate all relevant documents for month-end reporting and forward to company accounting firm on a mthly basis.
General duties include filing of documents, simple packing and ensuring office is kept in a clean and tidy manner.
