About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic MES Application Support Engineer to support and enhance mission-critical Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) within a fast-paced technology environment. This role will primarily focus on application support (70%) while also contributing to development and system enhancements (30%).


The ideal candidate will have strong experience in application support, troubleshooting, and development using C# and JavaScript, with exposure to manufacturing or MES systems being an added advantage.


Key Responsibilities

Application Support (70%)

  • Provide L2/L3 support for MES applications, ensuring high system availability and performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, incidents, and service requests within defined SLAs
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures
  • Monitor system health, logs, and performance metrics to proactively identify issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, infrastructure, vendors) for issue resolution
  • Support release deployments, patches, and production rollouts

Development & Enhancements (30%)

  • Design, develop, and implement enhancements, bug fixes, and minor feature upgrades
  • Work on C# (.NET) backend development and JavaScript-based UI enhancements
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and system optimization


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of experience in application support and development
  • Strong hands-on experience in C# / .NET technologies
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and modern web frameworks
  • Experience with SQL databases (SQL Server / Oracle / PostgreSQL)
  • Good understanding of incident management, problem management, and SLA-driven support models
  • Familiarity with API integrations (REST/SOAP)
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills


Good to Have

  • Experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
  • Exposure to manufacturing / semiconductor / industrial domain
  • Knowledge of industrial protocols (OPC, SECS/GEM)
  • Experience in cloud platforms (Azure / AWS) or DevOps tools
