Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Tender & Bid Management

  • Lead the full tender lifecycle: opportunity assessment, bid/no-bid decision, preparation, submission, and post-bid clarification.
  • Prepare tender bid plan
  • Analyze tender documents (technical specs, commercial terms, contractual conditions)
  • Develop bid strategies aligned with customer requirements and company objectives.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely submission of high-quality proposals.

2. Technical Solution Coordination

  • Work closely with engineering teams to define solutions involving:
  • SCADA systems
  • Power Monitoring Systems (PMS)
  • Energy Monitoring Systems (EMS)
  • Load Management Systems (LMS) such as load shedding and load inhibit
  • Generation Management Systems (GMS) including synchronization panel
  • MicroGrid and Battery Energy Storage Systems
  • ATS / MTS
  • Fault Location, Isolation, and Supply Restoration (FLISR)
  • Ensure proposed architecture meets client specifications and industry standards.
  • Review system design including communication protocols (IEC 61850, Modbus, DNP3), OPC DA / UA, IEC 60870-*************, IEC 60870-*************.
  • Work closely with the System Architect to come up with Bill of Material including RTU (T500, T300, T150) and its accessories, PLCs including its components, Protection Relay (CORTEC/ part number composition), Power Meter, Power Quality Meters, Panel Server Gateway (PAS600 & PAS800), Server & workstation (either entreprise or industrial type), KVM, UPS & its rack, network switch (either industrial or enterprise), router, firewall, and the Software Platforms (such as Ecostruxure Power Operation, EPAS / EcoSUI).
  • Works closely with marketing to register additional equipment into the SAP / SG201 price (TP) and update into the costing tool (GET Studio 360) or to match with the WebATT.
  • Coordinate the team to prepare the point count / device list as the reference of system architect in sizing the server and software platform.

3. Commercial & Costing

  • Prepare cost estimates including hardware, software, engineering, commissioning, and services.
  • Upstream calculation on the Inter Group (IG) product hardware as well as the IG services
  • Optimize pricing strategies to balance competitiveness and profitability.
  • Identify cost risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Work with procurement/vendors for quotations and partnerships.

4. Risk & Contract Management

  • Identify contractual, technical, and execution risks.
  • Review and negotiate contract terms, including:
  • Liquidated damages
  • Performance guarantees
  • Delivery schedules
  • Ensure compliance with legal, financial, and management requirements.

5. Stakeholder Coordination

  • Act as the central point of contact between:
  • Sales teams
  • Engineering/design teams
  • Procurement
  • Finance and legal departments
  • Cyber Security
  • Sustainability
  • Engage with customers during clarification stages and technical discussions.

6. Documentation & Compliance

  • Prepare and compile technical and commercial proposals.
  • Ensure all submissions meet tender requirements and formatting standards.
  • Maintain documentation for audit and knowledge reuse as per Digital Energy Quality Plan


Qualifications:

  1. 4 Years of engineering, execution and tendering experience in Digital Power Automation
  2. Strong analytical and costing skills
  3. Experience in contract review, negotiation support, and risk management
  4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  5. Ability to manage multiple tenders under tight deadlines
  6. Power systems and electrical distribution
  7. Interpret the Overall Single Line Diagram and detail Single Line Diagram (SLD) including the schematic
  8. SCADA architectures and industrial communication protocols (IEC 61850, Modbus, OPC, DNP3)
  9. Substation automation and energy management systems
  10. Familiarity with cybersecurity standards for critical infrastructure is a plus.
