Responsibilities
- Prepare tender, design, and construction drawings for building and infrastructure projects to meet project specifications
- Coordinate with Senior Architect, contractors, and authorities to ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations
- Prepare and submit authorities’ forms, drawings, and information for pre-consultation, waivers, and approvals
- Submit drawings to authorities for official approvals and permits
- Maintain technical competency by staying updated on drafting technology and prevailing authorities’ codes and regulations
- Apply knowledge of Singapore Code of Practice, SCDF Fire Safety Acts, and local authority codes in project execution
- Understand and implement Singapore BIM standards and guides in design workflows
- Manage authorities’ submission processes including Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) and Completion of Statutory Certificate (CSC) clearances
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum 8 years of relevant architectural design and project coordination experience
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D design software including BIM, Revit, and AutoCAD
- Familiarity with Singapore standards and e-submission system (CORENET)
- Strong analytical skills to assess design compliance and resolve technical issues
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and authorities
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and demonstrate strong responsibility
- In-depth knowledge of Singapore Codes of Practice and regulations for the built environment
