Dental Surgery Assistant (DSA)

Dental As-Salam (Bangi & Semenyih)
Full-Time

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare patients before dental procedures
• Assist dentist during treatments and procedures
• Maintain strict infection control (sterilising instruments, preparing trays & materials)
• Assist in managing medical and dental emergencies when required
• Take and process dental X-rays and maintain X-ray equipment
• Record treatment details in patient records
• Collect and record patient medical/dental history and vital signs
• Provide oral hygiene education and post-operative instructions
• Prepare preliminary impressions and temporary restorations
• Maintain cleanliness and proper care of dental equipment
• Monitor and manage dental supplies inventory
• Support administrative tasks when required

Job Requirements

• Able to read, write and speak in Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Able to assist doctor confidently in the treatment room
• Comfortable handling clinical instruments and equipment
• Able to perform basic administrative duties
• Responsible, detail-oriented and patient-friendly
• Prior experience as Dental Surgery Assistant is an advantage

Training & Development

We provide structured in-house training, including:

• Clinical Assistant Module
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Compulsory 30-hour training programme
• Continuous clinical and professional development training

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
