We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to maintain and optimize our servers, databases, and infrastructure. You will ensure system reliability, uptime, and scalability through monitoring and automation.

You will also manage CI/CD pipelines, deployments, backups, and updates, while documenting processes and supporting team knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and maintain Linux servers
• Manage and optimize web servers (Apache, Nginx)
• Maintain and optimize databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability
• Perform backups and data maintenance
• Automate deployments and infrastructure processes
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins)
• Collaborate with developers for smooth deployment
• Document system processes and configurations
• Apply updates and patches with minimal disruption
• Stay updated with DevOps tools and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent
• Experience managing Linux servers and production environments
• Strong knowledge of web servers and databases
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
• Understanding of system performance, scalability, and troubleshooting
• Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have (Advantage)

• Experience with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to RM7,000.00 per month
