Overview

The Manager, Global Payment Centre is responsible to represent the Global Payments Centre department as Digital Banking operations & IBG Unit representative. The primary purpose of the position is to plan, direct and manage all services provided through the Digital Channels and IBG payment platform. Maintain excellence in service quality, assisting business development and enhancement of services.

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Global Payment Centre.

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

Functional (job responsibilities)

  • Oversee the daily activities of the IBG Unit, Digital Banking Operations (DBO), and Retail Payment Platform (RPP) teams.
  • Establish and maintain service standards aligned with Bank expectations and achieve targets for resolving customer complaints.
  • Provide solutions and strategic guidance to the operations team and front-line staff for handling BAU queries.
  • Act as the operation owner for Digital Banking Channels, which includes managing Online and Mobile Banking systems and acting as the Web manager for the public portal.
  • Manage IBG settlements, monitor file transmissions for incoming/outgoing payments, and perform necessary reconciliations.
  • Serve as the operations project manager for regulatory projects and internal digital banking enhancements.
  • Ensure adherence to Minimum Control standards in all channels and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Submit monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, including those required by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM).
  • Lead and supervise staff within the division while fostering a conducive working environment.

Jobholder Requirements

  • Malaysian citizen.

Education/Qualification

  • Diploma / Degree in any discipline or experience in payments or branch operations and risk management.

Experience/Requirements

  • Banking operations, knowledge in FSA, ECM, ABM Rules, BASEL II, FATCA, AML, FEAR.
  • Sound banking knowledge and experience with a minimum of 6 years in Financial Institution or related fields.
