Job Description

Responsibilities

Sophatych is a Singapore-based business consulting and advisory firm built on the conviction that rigorous, research-driven strategy creates lasting value across Asia's most dynamic growth markets. Founded by an experienced operator, Sophatych does business consulting for companies navigating capital allocation, market entry, and operational scaling challenges, with a focus on Southeast Asia and the broader Asia ex-China corridor. Beyond business consulting, Sophatych is committed to building something meaningful in Singapore's ecosystem: developing the next generation of analytical and creative talent, and embedding a genuine charitable dimension into its operating philosophy, reflecting the belief that business excellence and positive social contribution are inseparable.

The intern will have a multifunctional opportunity to consider rotation in 3 practice areas but initially starting off in one, further described below: Marketing, Artificial Intelligence, and Finance for work in Singapore, on a hybrid basis. Analyze financial statements to extract key performance and valuation insights

Ability to synthesize large data sets into clear, concise written and visual outputs

Practice Area 2 — Marketing

ABOUT THE PRACTICE AREA

This area leads the firm’s external presence and audience development across digital and professional channels, with a focus on institutional and high-net-worth audiences in Singapore, New York/Boston, London, and Europe/Switzerland. You will own social media strategy, content production, CRM list development, and website support:  building the firm’s brand from an early stage. This area is also open to considering international remote applicants who have demonstrated knowledge of the target markets (New York/Boston, London, Europe/Switzerland).

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Develop and execute a social media content calendar across LinkedIn and relevant platforms

Research and build targeted contact lists for key markets: Asia, NY/Boston, London, Europe/Switzerland

Design and produce professional PowerPoint presentations for external and internal use

ABOUT THE PRACTICE AREA

This area focuses on  technical building at the intersection of AI engineering and real-world business application, with professional access to Claude (Anthropic) provided. You will design, build, and deploy durable AI agents that directly augment the firm's finance and marketing functions — eliminating manual workflows and compounding analytical capacity. The intern understands how to extract reliable, non-hallucinating output from large language models and has a bias toward building production-quality tools, not demos.
