Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure software applications.

  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.

  • Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and production issues.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, DevOps, and Business stakeholders.

  • Implement and maintain APIs, integrations, and backend services.

  • Ensure application performance, reliability, and security standards are met.

  • Support system upgrades, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Contribute to architectural decisions and technology evaluations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Strong experience in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.

  • Experience with object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean code principles.

  • Hands-on experience with web frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, .NET Core, Node.js, Django).

  • Proficiency in RESTful API design and development.

  • Strong knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and SQL.

  • Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).

  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and build/deployment automation.

  • Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and debugging tools.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Exposure to containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Familiarity with frontend technologies (Angular, React, or Vue.js).

  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum development environments.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Relevant technical certifications are an advantage.s
