Hiring: Senior SAP ABAP Consultant – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

AITEK is looking for an experienced Senior SAP ABAP Consultant to join a major SAP project in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on development experience across SAP ABAP technologies and the ability to work closely with functional and technical teams in a fast-paced project environment.

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Work Model: Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead SAP ABAP development activities across project lifecycle
• Design, develop, and support RICEF objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows
• Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions
• Develop and optimize ABAP programs for S/4HANA environments
• Support integrations involving IDoc, RFC, BAPI, Web Services, APIs, and middleware platforms
• Perform debugging, performance tuning, testing, and technical documentation
• Support deployment, UAT, go-live, and hypercare activities
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team

Key Requirements:

• 6+ years of strong SAP ABAP development experience
• Hands-on experience with RICEF development objects
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA environment is preferred
• Good exposure to CDS Views, OData, Enhancements, and performance optimization
• Knowledge of SAP integration technologies and interface development
• Ability to work independently and interact with business stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Willingness to work onsite in Kuala Lumpur
