Senior Automation Test Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Test Manager with extensive experience in automation testing and test management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading testing initiatives, developing automation frameworks, and ensuring the quality of software products. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage testing processes and mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead the automation testing efforts for various projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Develop and implement automation testing strategies and frameworks to improve testing efficiency.
• Manage the test management process, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Mentor and guide junior testers in automation testing best practices and tools.
• Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and tools to enhance productivity.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to software quality and testing.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in automation testing technologies.
  
  

Mandatory Skills

• Strong expertise in automation testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
• Proficient in test management tools like JIRA, ALM, or similar.
• Experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in automation testing or quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.
