Job Details

Position: Videographer cum Video Editor
Salary: RM2,500 – RM3,000
Working Days: Monday – Friday
Working Hours:

• Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Saturday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Job Description

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Videographer cum Video Editor to support video production and editing for the company’s marketing and digital content needs.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, shooting, and editing video content while working closely with the marketing team to ensure all visuals align with the brand’s message and objectives.
This position is ideal for someone who is creative, organised, and comfortable handling video projects from concept to final output.

Key Responsibilities

1) Plan video concepts and prepare simple scripts for video shoots
2) Operate cameras and recording equipment to produce high-quality video footage
3) Ensure all visuals align with the company’s brand image and messaging
4) Edit and arrange video clips professionally according to project requirements
5) Add graphics, text, visual effects, and basic animations to enhance video quality
6) Perform basic colour correction and audio adjustments for clear and engaging output
7) Ensure all recording and editing equipment are well maintained and in good condition
8) Report any technical issues or equipment damage to the relevant supervisor

Requirements

1) Basic proficiency in handling video cameras (DSLR, mirrorless, or smartphone)
2) Good understanding of basic video composition, lighting, and shooting angles
3) Able to edit videos using software
4) Capable of performing basic editing tasks including cutting, subtitles, text, music, and simple colour and audio adjustments
5) Understanding of video formats and requirements for social media platforms
