Position : Materials Management Data Deployment Lead

Industry : Oil & Gas (Shared Service)

Location: The Horizon, Bangsar South City, No. 8, Jalan Kerinchi, 59200 Kuala Lumpur

Working Hours : Monday - Friday (8 – 5 PM or 9 – 6 PM)

Employment Type: 12 Month Contract with PERSOL - possible extension upon business approval

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (60/40)

Salary range : RM9,000 - RM12,600 (based on experience & qualification)

About the Role

You’ll play a critical role in a major ERP transformation program (SAP S/4HANA).

You will lead data readiness, cleansing, and migration activities across materials management processes, ensuring high-quality data is delivered for successful system deployment. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about data, SAP, and large-scale transformation projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead MM data preparation, cleansing, and migration for ERP deployment
• Analyze and transform legacy data into load-ready formats aligned with new standards
• Assess data quality and drive site-level remediation activities
• Manage key MM data objects (EWM Product Master, storage bins, warehouse stock, etc.)
• Collaborate with site teams, central data teams, and SAP specialists
• Support Data Conversion cycles, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
• Participate in SIT, UAT, and Early Life Support (ELS) activities
• Identify recurring data issues and contribute to data governance improvements
• Ensure alignment with end-to-end materials management data flows

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in SAP data migration (MM domain)
• Strong expertise in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA implementations
• Proven track record in data cleansing, transformation & migration projects
• Deep understanding of materials management / procurement data flows
• Experience working in complex, cross-functional environments
• Strong analytical, problem-solving & data handling skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing abilities
• Experience in risk management and governance processes

Technical Skills

• SAP ECC / SAP S/4HANA
• Advanced Excel, Access, PowerPoint
• Azure DevOps (nice to have)
• Familiarity with MS tools (Outlook, Teams)
