Job Summary
The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and delivering technology projects within the banking and financial services environment. The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, ensuring compliance with banking regulations, and delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management
- Lead end-to-end IT project delivery for banking applications and systems.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation plans.
- Monitor project progress and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
- Ensure projects are delivered according to SDLC, Agile, or Waterfall methodologies.
Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with business users, product owners, vendors, and technical teams.
- Conduct project meetings, steering committee updates, and status reporting.
- Manage communication between IT, operations, compliance, and business units.
- Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.

Vendor & Resource Management
- Coordinate with external vendors, consultants, and system integrators.
- Manage project budgets, contracts, and procurement activities.
- Track vendor performance and SLA compliance.
- Lead and mentor project team members.
Testing & Deployment
- Oversee SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities.
- Coordinate release management and production rollout.
- Ensure smooth transition to support and operations teams.
- Manage post-implementation review and project closure activities.
