Responsibilities

Adecco’s client, is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to support its business and functional groups in Malaysia. This role will act as a strategic HR partner to leadership teams, driving people initiatives aligned with business objectives while fostering a high-performance and employee-centric culture within a fast-paced financial services environment.


The ideal candidate will bring strong HR business partnering experience, excellent stakeholder management capabilities, and the ability to support complex people matters across a dynamic and evolving organisation. This role will also play a key role in supporting enterprise HR initiatives, organisational development, and strategic workforce planning.


Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with business leaders and functional stakeholders to support business strategies and organisational objectives through effective HR solutions
  • Act as the main point of contact for all people-related matters across designated business units
  • Drive and support HR initiatives across talent management, employee engagement, workforce planning, performance management, and organisational development
  • Provide guidance and support on complex employee relations matters, workplace issues, and sensitive people-related concerns
  • Support the execution of HR strategic priorities and people plans aligned with overall business and functional goals
  • Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence (CoE) and regional stakeholders to deliver integrated HR solutions and programmes
  • Provide coaching and advisory support to managers on leadership, team effectiveness, employee development, and people management practices
  • Support change management initiatives and organisational transformation projects within the business
  • Utilise HR data, insights, and business trends to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to a strong people-focused culture by promoting employee engagement, inclusion, collaboration, and operational excellence


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • Minimum 11 years of HR experience, preferably within financial services, banking, or multinational environments
  • Strong HR business partnering experience with the ability to support senior stakeholders and business leaders effectively
  • Prior exposure within HR Centres of Excellence (CoE), particularly in compensation or recruitment, is highly advantageous
  • Strong understanding of HR management practices, employee relations, organisational development, and talent strategies
  • Commercially astute with strong business acumen and understanding of financial services operations
  • Strong stakeholder management, consulting, influencing, and relationship-building capabilities
  • Experience in project management, change management, and driving HR initiatives across complex organisations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong proficiency in spoken and written English
