Responsibilities
OVERVIEW
The Activity Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and conducting activities and engagement programs for residents to promote social interaction, well-being, and an enjoyable living environment. The role includes encouraging resident participation and ensuring activities are carried out safely and effectively.

THE JOBSCOPE
- Plan, organize, and coordinate daily activities, events, and engagement programs for residents.
- Encourage residents to participate in social, recreational, wellness, and group activities.
- Assist in preparing activity schedules, materials, and event setups.
- Monitor residents during activities to ensure safety, comfort, and participation.
- Build positive relationships with residents and provide companionship and emotional support when needed.
- Coordinate with caregivers, nurses, and other departments to support resident well-being and activities.
- Support festive celebrations, outings, and special events for residents when required.
- Maintain activity records, attendance, and feedback where applicable.
- Ensure activity areas, equipment, and materials are clean, safe, and organized.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum SPM, Diploma in Hospitality, Healthcare, Recreation, Psychology, or related field is an advantage.
- Experience in elderly care, customer service, hospitality, or activity coordination is an added advantage.
- Friendly, patient, caring, and energetic personality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative and able to organize engaging activities for residents.
- Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
- Fresh graduates or candidates without experience but willing to learn are encouraged to apply.
