Job Description

We are seeking a Site Safety Supervisor with a valid Yellow Book (Safety and Health Officer certification) to oversee safety compliance and assist in the supervision of construction activities. The candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe working environment while coordinating closely with the site team.

  • To oversee and enforce all site health and safety practices, conducting regular monitoring, inspections, and hazard assessments to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.
  • To manage PPE and safety equipment, ensuring proper availability, usage, and maintenance of helmets, harnesses, gloves, goggles, and other protective gear for all workers.
  • To conduct safety training and briefings, organizing orientations for new workers/visitors and holding regular safety meetings to reinforce protocols and address concerns.
  • To perform systematic safety inspections, completing weekly checks of first aid kits, work areas, equipment, signage, barricades, and fall protection systems.
  • To investigate and report incidents, documenting all accidents/near misses, notifying authorities, and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • To develop and implement safety protocols, creating and enforcing procedures based on local laws, project requirements, and industry best practices.
  • To collaborate with project leadership, working with engineers and supervisors to identify/pre-empt safety issues before work commences.
  • To maintain comprehensive safety documentation, preparing reports for management and compiling all required safety records and compliance evidence.
  • To address environmental controls, establishing and maintaining operational procedures related to environmental health and safety.
  • To implement organizational systems, developing office policies, procedures, and performing special assignments to support company objectives as directed by Top Management.

Requirements :

  • Yellow Book holder (registered with DOSH Malaysia).
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant site experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational safety regulations and best practices.
  • Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
